Sources, creator credits, licenses, and conversion notes for Deskspace Studio. Historical records are retained below; models awaiting redistribution permission are excluded from this public beta.
Hyperreal surfaces and daylight
Poly Haven CC0 scans supply the plaster, concrete and walnut surfaces, with a dawn environment photographed by Greg Zaal. Deskspace prepares smaller editing maps and higher-resolution photo maps, normalizes painted surfaces to preserve your chosen colors, and derives the distant window view from the environment. Original files, authors, hashes and transformations are recorded in the manifest.
Real-time landscapes and materials
Poly Haven CC0 panoramas provide the meadow, hills, coastal sunrise and open sky. The live walnut finish retains photographed grain and color variation at 2K. Nearby trees and shrubs use optimized models and original PBR textures by Rico Cilliers, via Poly Haven. Screen coatings use manufacturer specifications and published reviews; their rendering values are visual approximations.
Outdoor worlds
Residential gardens, neighborhoods, city streets and skylines, mountains, ocean, forest, desert and snow use Poly Haven CC0 HDR panoramas. The 2K views and 1K foliage lighting maps load on demand. The evergreen model retains its original PBR maps with simplified geometry. Fan, lamps and modular wall panels are original generic Deskspace geometry.
Floating homepage hardware
The Wooting 80HE enclosure and module derive from Wooting’s official design files under CERN-OHL-S-2.0, with MIT-licensed XDA keycaps by spooknik. The Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT model is “Computer mouse” by zhe_kan, licensed CC BY 4.0. Homepage derivatives were simplified, compressed, and given new presentation materials on September 11, 2026. Product names identify the models; they do not imply endorsement.
The monitor and desktop stand, lighting, and starfield are original Deskspace geometry and artwork. The public homepage uses an original Deskspace case. The Lian Li source record is retained for the local project; its model is excluded from this beta. Homepage modifications are separate from the editor assets.
Desk workbench furniture and surfaces
Official Herman Miller, UPLIFT and IKEA product models, prepared locally at source scale with movable parts separated. Original downloads and hashes are retained. Manufacturer content is used here for the personal local project; this record does not assert a redistribution license.

PC builder fans
The Noctua NF-A12x25 G2 PWM and NF-A14x25 G2 PWM entries use converted public STEP references. The GLBs preserve the source geometry at measured scale and use a neutral material approximation because the CAD carries no portable appearance payload. Noctua’s public CAD notice says protected blade features were modified and excludes manufacture, reproduction and commercialization; runtime redistribution permission remains pending.
Articulated monitor supports
The compact and heavy-duty arms are original Deskspace models with seven articulated parts, satin finishes, cable covers and separate mounting heads. Their proportions are informed by VIVO, Secretlab and Ergotron manufacturer references. Both offer independent single and shared-clamp dual configurations. The weighted post support is also authored for Deskspace. These are generic visual models, not branded replicas or load-rated engineering models.
Original downloads and license records are retained unchanged. Older saved generic arms retain the Flo conversion; the branded Ollin arm retains its original geometry. New Deskspace geometry is separate from those downloaded assets.
Artisan mousepads
Official Artisan product photographs supply the original logos, colors and printed artwork. Deskspace constructs the pad bodies from published dimensions, with cloth shading and reference-based FX stitching or Classic edges. These are visual approximations, not manufacturer 3D models. Original photographs, source URLs, hashes and size/firmness evidence are retained.
Woven rugs and carpet
Hessian 230 and Wool Boucle are CC0 scans from Poly Haven, photographed by colormass and processed by Rico Cilliers. Deskspace supplies the rug geometry, bound edges and pile shading. The wool scan's checker colors are subdued for a plain tintable finish. These are adapted visual materials, not a specific manufacturer's rug or carpet.

Deskspace modifications: Decoded the ordinary public Sketchfab viewer geometry and textures without Blender, authentication, payment, or protected-download workarounds. Baked all source mesh ancestry matrices into positions, normals, and tangents using Three.js; converted the source Z-up scene to Y-up. The source body long axis is X for this model; rotated that axis to runtime -Z so the mouse front faces -Z. The source +Y axis therefore maps to runtime -X. Calibrated with one uniform scale from the body long axis to the official 118.3 mm length. Preserved the resulting maximum width (the 53.5 mm Razer value is a grip-width specification). Expanded triangle strips with alternating winding and skipped degenerate strip joins. Flipped OpenGL V coordinates for glTF. Preserved nonconstant base-color and normal maps; inverted the normal-map green channel for glTF; packed nonconstant roughness and metallic maps into glTF ORM textures with occlusion set to 1; reduced constant maps to material factors. Applied a small runtime material normalization for the isolated app preview: roughness floors of Grain 0.70, Gloss 0.35 and Rubber 0.70, plus normal strength 0.20 where a normal map remains. Original decoded textures and source files remain retained for provenance. Merged and welded compatible static surfaces and removed unused graph objects. No source model bytes were changed and no original geometry was authored.

Deskspace modifications: Decoded the normally delivered public geometry and texture records with the public viewer’s own client modules; preserved all 157,616 source triangles, authored normals, UVs, material artwork and labels. Exported self-contained glTF PBR materials, translated to a centered bottom origin, rotated to Y-up, and uniformly calibrated the 140 mm width. Height and depth were not stretched. Source dithering opacity is represented by glTF alpha blending.

KeebSpace keyboards
Primary cases, sculpted keycaps, and switch geometry are adapted from the Keeb Space configurator published by ULTRAZONE. The 60%, 65%, and 75% configurations use its Tofu, Neo, and Glare case styles.
Deskspace converts the runtime meshes to glTF, adjusts their case controls to fit each layout, joins the source spacebar sections, and supplies its own materials, legends, and typing animation. Uniform mode uses the same row-three keycap shape throughout the keyboard. These are adapted visual models, not manufacturer CAD or verified physical assemblies.
Deskspace keyboard studio
The eight starting sets, novelty icons, surface artwork, switch assemblies, stabilizers, plates, circuit boards, foams and mounting details are authored for Deskspace. Surface coordinates were added to the existing cap meshes without replacing their geometry.
Key legends use Inter by Rasmus Andersson, distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Modified by Deskspace on September 6, 2026: the case and accent STL meshes were converted to Y-up metre units, translated together to a centered resting origin, and packaged as named binary glTF meshes. No axis was stretched and no case or accent triangles were removed.
This previous case is no longer used in the primary keyboard renderer. Its source package and notices are retained in the local project for earlier derivatives. Deskspace is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wooting.
SA profile keycaps
Source: SA Profile Keys 3D Models by getclacking, copyright 2015 getclacking, under the MIT License. Deskspace extracts the authored row and unit-size meshes, converts them to Y-up metre units, and instances them on measured 19.05 mm key spacing.
XDA profile keycaps
Source: XDA Keycap 3D Models by spooknik, copyright 2018 spooknik, under the MIT License. Deskspace combines the source Base/Top pairs and converts inch-based geometry to Y-up metre units. The configurable keyboards use a 0.2 mm grid reduction. The Wooting 80HE configuration uses a separate reduction from the original, unquantized OBJ to preserve smooth cap surfaces.
The imported keycap meshes are render references without switch stems and are not offered as manufacturing files. Product and project names remain the property of their respective owners. Contact-shadow rendering includes code adapted from Drei, copyright 2020 react-spring, under the MIT License.
